On 18 February 2026, the Anesthesia Department, in collaboration with the Physiotherapy Department, organized a successful community outreach project at New Zhyar Private High School.
This initiative reflects the departments’ ongoing commitment to strengthening community engagement and promoting health awareness among young students.
The visit featured an educational seminar presented by Mr. Kovan Dilawer, Coordinator of the Anesthesia Department, and Ms. Paywand Mamand. The seminar focused on raising awareness about health, safety, and the importance of understanding basic medical concepts at an early age. The session was designed to be interactive and engaging, encouraging students to actively participate.
Following the presentation, an interactive Question and Answer activity was conducted, allowing students to test their knowledge, ask insightful questions, and engage in meaningful discussions with the academic team. The activity created a dynamic learning environment and fostered enthusiasm among the students.
As part of the outreach effort, gift bags were distributed to participating students as a token of appreciation and encouragement. The initiative aimed not only to educate but also to inspire students to take an interest in healthcare fields and healthy lifestyle practices.
The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Anesthesia and Physiotherapy Departments, with the valuable participation of dedicated student volunteers who actively supported the organization and delivery of the event.
At the conclusion of the visit, the team extended their sincere appreciation to the school manager for his cooperation, and support in facilitating this meaningful community activity.
Such community-based projects highlight the university’s mission to extend knowledge beyond campus walls and contribute positively to society through education, awareness, and service.
