On 11th May 2026, Anesthesia students proudly organized the “Taste for Change: IDCB SDG Project Fundraising Day”, a meaningful charitable event aimed at supporting patients at Nanakali Hospital through fundraising activities led by enthusiastic student volunteers.
The projectshowcased a variety of homemade foods and refreshments prepared and presented by students as part of their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiative. The fundraising day reflected the spirit of compassion, teamwork, and social responsibility among students, while encouraging community engagement for a noble cause.
The event was honored by the presence of the Presidency, the Dean of Applied Science, Prof. Dr. Faiq Hussain, Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Tola Faraj, and the Coordinator of the Anesthesia Department, Mr. Kovan Dilawer, along with several departmental staff members. The distinguished guests visited the students’ tents, expressed their appreciation for the initiative, and supported the students by purchasing food items during the event.
The activity highlighted the university’s commitment to promoting humanitarian values and student-led community service projects. Through their efforts, the students successfully collected donations that will be dedicated to charity support for patients at Nanakali Hospital.
“Taste for Change” served not only as a fundraising event but also as an inspiring example of how students can contribute positively to society through creativity, collaboration, and compassion.
