On 18 May 2026, the Cybersecurity Department at the Faculty of Science, Tishk International University, successfully organized an international scientific webinar entitled “OpenClaw in Practice: Using Personal AI Agents for Work.” The webinar was coordinated by Ms. Halal Abdulrahman and brought together academic staff, students, and professionals interested in the latest developments in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The webinar featured Dr. Javier Solís García, a Machine Learning Engineer at Avature and holder of a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Seville. During the session, Dr. García shared his expertise in generative AI, natural language processing, time-series modeling, and intelligent assistant systems, highlighting practical applications of AI technologies in both academic and professional environments. The webinar introduced participants to OpenClaw, an innovative personal AI agent designed to assist users with research support, document management, planning, communication, and workflow automation. Through practical demonstrations and real-world examples, attendees gained valuable insights into how AI-powered assistants can enhance productivity, support decision-making, and improve efficiency in everyday tasks. The session provided an excellent opportunity for participants to explore emerging AI technologies and understand their growing role in education, research, and workplace innovation. Interactive discussions allowed attendees to engage directly with the speaker, exchange ideas, and learn about current trends and future developments in artificial intelligence. This initiative reflects the Cybersecurity Department’s commitment to promoting digital skills, technological innovation, and lifelong learning among students and academic staff. The webinar also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by providing access to advanced technological knowledge, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by enhancing digital competencies relevant to modern workplaces, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by encouraging the adoption of innovative AI technologies and digital transformation practices.
