Dr. Hemin Ibrahim, Head of the Cybersecurity department at Tishk International University, served as a trainer during the first training course on disinformation generated by artificial intelligence, held in Erbil. The training took place from November 30 to December 2, 2024. The Cybersecurity Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) has a 4-year annual plan with BA degree. The program covers both practical and theoretical information. Cybersecurity is an interdisciplinary scientific field with contributions from computer science, information technology, computer engineering and social sciences. The Cybersecurity Department gives education on the information technologies with its expert staff in their own area of expertise.
