The Head of the Cybersecurity Department, Dr. Hemin Ibrahim, participated as a keynote speaker in a workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in Various Sectors of Life” at Koya University.
The workshop was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Koya University Presidential Hall, organized by the Deanship of Research Centers and Development. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including the President of Koya University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hasib Siddiq, as well as guests from Tishk International University (TIU), including the Dean of Applied Science, Prof. Dr. Faeq Hussain, the Vice Dean, Dr. Tola Faraj, and the Head of the IT department, Mr. Savriddin Khalilof.
Dr. Hemin Ibrahim delivered a presentation on “AI in Business,” highlighting the intersection of artificial intelligence with business operations and cybersecurity implications. His presentation was part of the main panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Safar Maghdid, which also featured presentations on “AI in Healthcare” by Dr. Sarkawt Dizayee and “Marketing in AI” by Mr. Fuad Zada.
The workshop included an engaging Q&A session that enriched the discussions on the presented topics. At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of participation were distributed to the panel moderator and presenters, including Dr. Hemin Ibrahim. This participation reflects our department’s commitment to staying at the forefront of artificial intelligence developments and their implications for cybersecurity in various sectors.
