The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Applied Science at Tishk International University (TIU), successfully organized an International Workshop titled “ ”.
Held under the framework of UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, the workshop explored the vital relationship between nutrition, brain function, and mental resilience.
The event gathered distinguished speakers, faculty members, students, and professionals from various academic and health disciplines.
•Prof. Naji Mustafa Abuirmeileh delivered a presentation on Preventive and Therapeutic Nutrition, highlighting the significance of balanced diets in enhancing both mental and physical health.
•Asst. Prof. Yaseen Mammand Omar Galali presented on Food Technology and Human Nutrition, explaining the scientific role of dietary components in improving the gut–brain communication pathway.
The workshop encouraged participants to embrace a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness, integrating academic knowledge with practical applications for better health outcomes.
