On January 15, 2026, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Department successfully launched a comprehensive training course for lecturers in the Faculty of Law. This program is led by Hemin Ibrahim, the Head of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Department.
This is not a one-day workshop. It is an extensive course that will continue for more than one month. The goal is to ensure that lecturers have enough time to learn these new skills thoroughly.
The training is designed to go step-by-step, covering all topics gradually. Hemin Ibrahim will guide the Law faculty through the following areas over the coming weeks:
-
Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI): A gradual introduction to what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is and how it functions.
-
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools for Law: Practical sessions on using the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for legal research and teaching.
-
Ethics and Safety: Detailed discussions on bias, privacy, and the responsible use of technology.
This ongoing collaboration between the Artificial Intelligence Department and the Faculty of Law highlights TIU’s dedication to modernizing education and keeping staff updated with the latest technology.
