May 4, 2026, The Cybersecurity (CBS) Department at Tishk International University (TIU) recently hosted a friendly dinner aimed at strengthening the connection between students and faculty in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The event brought together first-year students alongside Miss Halal Abdulrahman, Miss Yasameen Sami, and Mr. Islam Abdulaziz. It created an open space for students to share their academic experiences, discuss challenges, and suggest ideas to improve their learning environment. Throughout the evening, meaningful conversations took place as students expressed their thoughts and felt genuinely heard. Faculty members provided guidance on effective study habits, time management, and balancing university life, offering valuable mentorship in an informal and supportive atmosphere. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to fostering a student-centred environment that promotes both academic success and personal well-being. It also aligns with the university’s broader mission to support Quality Education (SDG 4), Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3), and Strong Institutions (SDG 16) through open communication and community engagement.
