On May 10, 2026, second-year cybersecurity students Alan Farhan, Mohammed Ahmed, Balen Peshraw, and Raha Aram from Tishk International University conducted an educational visit to Noble Technical Institute under the supervision of Mr. Abdulla Dara. During the visit, the students delivered two impactful seminars focused on cybersecurity awareness, digital safety, and responsible technology use, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

The first seminar explored the mindset and tactics of cybercriminals, explaining how hackers often exploit human error rather than technical systems. Using global statistics and real-world cyberattack examples, the presenters demonstrated the growing scale of digital threats and emphasized the importance of cybersecurity education in today’s connected world.

The second seminar concentrated on practical protection strategies and safe online behavior. The TIU students shared essential cybersecurity habits that individuals can adopt to safeguard their personal information and digital identities. They highlighted that awareness, critical thinking, and responsible internet use are among the strongest defenses against cyber threats.

The event concluded with an interactive cybersecurity challenge and a Q&A session, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing among students. Through this initiative, the participants promoted digital literacy, community awareness, and safer online practices, reflecting the values of sustainable education and secure digital communities envisioned by the SDGs.
