Clinical Training Initiative

On October 22, 2025, second-grade students from the Medical Technical Radiology Department undertook a practical training visit to the X-Ray Department at Erbil Teaching Hospital. The educational trip was organized under the supervision of Ms. Rawa Kamaran, Head of the Medical Technical Radiology Department, and Mr. Kovan Faidhalla.

Expert Guidance and Supervision

The session was hosted by Dr. Abbas Haji Abbas, Lecturer at Tishk International University, who facilitated:

  • Hands-on observation of clinical X-ray procedures

  • Technical discussions with departmental staff

  • Practical demonstrations of radiographic equipment

  • Clinical workflow observations in a hospital setting

Professional Skill Development

This clinical exposure allowed students to deepen their understanding of radiographic techniques through direct observation, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in a real healthcare environment.

Curriculum Enhancement

The visit significantly contributed to students’ professional development by providing insights into clinical radiology practices, equipment operation, and patient care protocols, directly aligning with their academic curriculum and preparing them for future clinical roles.
