Community Project by the Medical Technical Radiology Department: Caring for the Elderly

On May 25, 2025, students from the Medical Technical Radiology Department carried out a heartwarming community project dedicated to supporting the elderly population in Erbil. This initiative aimed to promote health awareness, provide companionship, and offer basic health checks and care to senior citizens who needed them.
The students engaged with elderly residents through educational sessions, free health assessments, and emotional support activities, emphasising the importance of elderly care in our society. Their efforts were deeply appreciated by the community and served as a powerful example of compassion, responsibility, and professional dedication.
This outreach project demonstrated the students’ strong commitment to community service and the well-being of vulnerable groups.
