Medical Technical Radiology Department Participates in MEDICO 2026 International Health Exhibition
From 11 to 14 August 2026, the Medical Technical Radiology Department at Tishk International University actively participated in the MEDICO 2026 International Health Exhibition, held in Erbil, Iraq. Under the supervision of Ms. Rawa K. Fattah, Head of the Medical Technical Radiology Department, the department organized a range of academic, professional, and community-focused activities to introduce the field of medical technical radiology and highlight the role of radiological services in modern healthcare.
During the exhibition, the department’s students actively participated in welcoming and guiding visitors, providing information about medical imaging, radiological technology, diagnostic procedures, and the educational programs of the department. The students demonstrated their communication skills, professionalism, and knowledge while assisting and guiding guests throughout the exhibition. The department also established important connections with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and medical companies, leading to the signing and discussion of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and potential opportunities for future academic and clinical cooperation. In addition, the department successfully obtained sponsorship support from companies, strengthening its engagement with the healthcare sector and creating further opportunities for students.
Through its participation in MEDICO 2026, the Medical Technical Radiology Department demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, professional development, community engagement, and strong partnerships with healthcare institutions and industry.
