The Medical Technical Radiology Department at the Faculty of Applied Science, Tishk International University (TIU), in collaboration with Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU), has completed an Advanced Training Course focused on establishing a course book for the newly formed Medical Technical Radiology Department. The training took place from October 10 to November 25, 2024, over 6 weeks.

This program aimed to enhance radiology education by developing a comprehensive training curriculum and course book. It equips students with fundamental knowledge in medical radiology, emphasizing radiographic techniques, radiation safety, and cutting-edge imaging technologies. The course ensures that students are well-prepared to take on professional roles within the healthcare industry.

Training Leadership and Instructors

Held at TIU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences, the training fostered an enriching and collaborative learning environment, benefiting all attendees and marking a significant step forward in advancing radiological education in the region. The training was conducted under the supervision and leadership of Prof. Dr. Runak T. Ali, head of the training course, and Ms. Rawa Kamaran, Head of the Department.
