On October 15th, 2024, the Physiotherapy Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a National Workshop on the Science of Longevity. The event, held at 10:00 AM, brought together experts, practitioners, and students to explore cutting-edge topics related to aging and longevity.

Among the distinguished speakers was Dr. Dana Marduk, a futurpreneur and Doctor of Longevity, as well as the CEO of Future Company. Dr. Marduk delivered insightful presentations on:

 1. The History and Future of Longevity

 2. Caging Aging: Why We Should Treat Aging as a Disease

In addition, Ms. Pary Ameer, a PhD candidate and Assistant Lecturer at TIU, enriched the workshop with her engaging discussion titled The Longevity Lifestyle: Nourishing Choices for a Longer Life.

The workshop emphasized practical approaches to aging and the importance of adopting strategies for successful aging to enhance the quality of life. Through interactive sessions, participants gained valuable insights into how science and lifestyle choices intersect to promote longevity.
