On September 22nd, 2024, Dr. Tola Faraj, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU), engaged in a significant meeting with Kim Strollo, Public Affairs Officer from the American Consulate in Erbil; Andy Halus, a representative from the American Embassy in Baghdad; and Rêving Mizory from the American Consulate in Erbil. The discussion focused on the ongoing implementation of the Fulbright ACAG Training Course in Erbil City and updates regarding the Edu-Health Community Action Grant.

The grant initiative, designed to bridge academia with the healthcare sector, has made strides in creating impactful education and healthcare solutions.
