As outlined in our COVID-19 Campus Pledge, our Department is making sure they follow prevailing national guidance and local requirements in place to support the fight against Covid-19. The Department of Medical Analysis is continuously working hard to spread awareness. Nanotechnology at Medical Analysis

One of the most frequent and important activities in the Department of  Medical Analysis is continuous seminars presented by academic staff to keep up with the latest scientific findings and data. On Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, a seminar was presented by Dr. Ranj N. Jalal and Dr. Zhala Dara Meran entitled ‘Nano Technology, a new era in Dentistry’, in which the importance of using the most recent technologies i.e. (nanocoating for dental implants) in solving complicated dental problems were discussed.

Exam Orientation

On 22nd of December, Medical Analysis Department organized an Orientation Program for the First Year Students about Examination Instructions. The Head of Examination Committee Miss Roza Talaat explained all the Instructions for the Students along with the Exam Committee Members to ensure that our Freshmen students will follow all the instructions required to perform the Mid-term Examinations and do not face any problems during the Examination period.

Scientific Trip

On December 16th Third Year Students of Medical Analysis Department went on a Scientific Trip to Par Hospital and Central Public Health Laboratory. The trip was organized by Dr. Rebaz Tahir who is a Lecturer in the Department along with the Department's Managing Staff. The aim of the trip was to show the students how both laboratories worked to keep the quality of their running devices and viability of their samples along with data collection for Public based studies and keeping Patient's information and managing their Health Profiles.

Saying Goodbye

On December 5th, Science Faculty in TIU which includes both Medical Analysis and IT Departments had a last meeting with the previous Dean of Faculty of Science, Dr. Karzan Mohammad who gave his last speech to the staff members running both departments. Both Dr. Mohammed Ozdemir and Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi the Vice Presidents of TIU joined the meeting and gave their Goodbye speech followed by the speech of the new Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Faiq Hama Saeed. Daily Campus Life

On November 5th Second Year Students of Medical Analysis Department arranged a Lunch Gathering and invited the Staff members of the Department to it. As Medical Analysis Department we encourage these types of activities and we believe that it's healthy for the students to also spend some time socializing together out of the academic borders to relieve the daily stress that students have.
