On November 5th Medical Analysis Department welcomed their Freshmen students through TIU's special Orientation Program. First, Dr. Karzan Mohammad, Dean of Faculty of Science gave his heartwarming welcoming speech explaining about Medical Analysis Department's history and uniqueness followed by the Head of Medical Analysis Department, Miss Roza Talaat who explained the new University environment and changes in the courses they will be studying to the students. On October 22nd, the students of Medical Analysis Department along with the Staff members of the Department got their First Dose of Hepatitis Virus Vaccination with the help of Ministry of Health. Health care workers were sent to Tishk International University and Vaccinated all the Students and Staff members of the Department. On 24th of October Medical Analysis Department in Tishk International University, Echo Organization, Chro Project along with the support of Ministry of Health organized a National Workshop for Breast Cancer Awareness at TIU Campus which consisted of two activities; a Seminar which discussed BSE (Breast Self Examination) and Screening opportunity to Guests, Staff, and Students of TIU. On November/22nd/2018, Medical Analysis Department along with Faculty of Pharmacy Staff had a work shop about a device named High Performance Liquid Chromatography abbreviate HPLC the workshop aimed to teach both staffs details on how to use and take care of HPLC and UV spectroscopy. In the first part the equipment works explained theoretically and in the second part a practical training was done. The workshop was explained by Mr. Muhamed Al-Qaisi and Mr.Ahmed Obeid., engineers from Al-Khora  and Black Pearl company.
