Faculty Table-tennis Tournament
In collaboration with the Dean of Students, the Department of Medical Analysis, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University, organized a table tennis tournament that took place on February 1st, 2023. The event provided an opportunity for students at all academic levels to showcase their table tennis abilities. The primary objective of these activities is to augment the student’s competitive edge and foster a motivated atmosphere conducive to improvement, encompassing not just educational domains but also other areas of interest.
Table tennis is a sport that necessitates players to actively engage their cognitive faculties and cultivate rapid strategic thinking and decision-making abilities in order to achieve victory. Consequently, it offers advantages for both the physical and emotional well-being of individuals.
The surge of adrenaline produced a sense of anticipation among individuals who were keen to witness the recipient of the accolade. Both Abdulmalek Ismail, a student of the Medical Analysis Department, and Hezha Mohammed, a student of the IT Department, successfully advanced to the final game. Abdulmalek took the first-place award, while Hezha secured the second-place trophy. Both pupils were awarded for their exceptional performance in this tournament.
