International Collaboration for Cancer Awareness and Research On February 4, 2026, the Faculty of Applied Sciences marked International Cancer Day by organizing a scientific workshop dedicated to raising awareness and strengthening academic knowledge on cancer care and research. Always Winners!!! The Faculty of Applied Science at Tishk International University organized a Football Tournament in which the Faculties of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Applied Science participated. The tournament began on December 27th, 2021, and will continue till February 4th, 2021. Tishk International University annually performs various social projects for the benefit of the community and TIU students. Amongst these activities, the Medical Analysis Department organized a community project in November 2021, in which students visited the Senior Care House in Erbil. The aim of this project was to provide healthcare to senior citizens who are currently living in nursing homes and to offer the elderly health protection, information, and the regular provision of basic medical examinations.
