Mission

The mission of the Nutrition and Dietetics program is to prepare professional specialists at the undergraduate level to work as clinical nutritionists and dieticians. These professionals aim to enhance human health through the prevention and treatment of health conditions by understanding the mechanisms of food and the role of bioactive substances in cellular, organ, and systemic functions. Additionally, they focus on designing and modifying meal programs, food choices, and dietary patterns to promote the health of individuals, families, and communities.
