A group of first-year students in the IT Department at Tishk International University—Znar Abdulhamid, Revin Muslih, Hera Khalil, Shamal Frsat, Kazhal Frsat, Mevan Didar, Asya Fatih, and Yara Abdulrazzaq—carried out a beautiful and environmentally focused social project titled “Planting Trees and Flowers.”
Project Aims
The aim of the project was to enhance the natural beauty of their surroundings and promote environmental awareness within the community. The students chose a public area in Erbil and worked together to plant various trees and colorful flowers. They carefully prepared the site, brought the necessary tools and materials, and spent the day transforming the space into a greener, more vibrant environment.
This initiative not only helped beautify the area but also served as a reminder of the importance of caring for nature. The project encouraged others to take similar steps toward sustainability and environmental protection.

Through teamwork, responsibility, and dedication, the students demonstrated a strong commitment to making a positive impact on both the environment and their community.
