A group of first-year students in IT Department at Tishk International University—Alan Mahmood, Ayub Ömer, Ali Barzan, Maysara Nihad, Nabaa Mofaq, and Mina Haidar—organized and implemented a heartwarming social project focused on supporting and celebrating orphans in Erbil.
The main goal of the project was to bring happiness and emotional support to orphaned children by organizing a special day filled with care and fun. The students visited a local orphanage, where they conducted various activities such as games, singing, storytelling, and group interactions. They also distributed thoughtful gift packages, which included toys, school supplies, and essential items, all gathered through personal effort and small donations.
Through this initiative, the students showed strong values of empathy, teamwork, and community engagement. Despite being in their first year of university, they demonstrated a mature sense of social responsibility and made a meaningful impact on the lives of the children they supported.
This project served not only as a joyful experience for the orphans but also as a powerful learning experience for the students, highlighting the importance of giving back to society.
