AI for Improving Government Workers’ Efficiencies Training Program
In collaboration with Smart Tip, a technology service provider in Erbil, Iraq, the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) successfully organized a workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Government Competencies”, held under the leadership of Dr. Taha Basheer and Mr. Mohammad Salim. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of government staff. This event took place at the Rabiein Centre for Development and Training in Hamdaniya, Nineveh Province, on May 8th and 9th, 2024.
The workshop was attended by twenty-one participants from several ministries and NGOs. The urgent necessity of AI education in enhancing governmental operations is underscored by their enthusiastic engagement and the demand for additional advanced training. This initiative not only serves to illustrate our commitment to societal advancement through scientific endeavours, but also affords the university the opportunity to generate sustainable financial income.
