The IT Department at Tishk International University (TIU) recently organized a significant initiative to strengthen the bond between our graduates and the university community. A visiting team, including Mr. Hemin Mikael, Mr. Islam Abdulaziz, and Mr. Frsat, met with alumni to provide support and maintain a strong connection.
Reinforcing the Alumni Connection
During the visit, the team presented the alumni with small gift packages as a token of appreciation. These thoughtful gifts included a power bank with the TIU logo and a set of stationery items.
Furthermore, Mr. Frsat provided an update on the activities of the Dean of Students. He highlighted how the Dean’s office actively supports graduates by facilitating the distribution of their CVs to various companies. This initiative is designed to help alumni transition into the professional world and to reinforce their sense of support and connection with the university long after graduation.
Success Story: A Visit to Mr. Abdulla
One of the notable alumni visited was Mr. Abdulla, a successful graduate who now owns his own business. His shop, Binary Zone, located in Sultan Muzafar, specializes in selling IT equipment and offering computer repair services. This is a testament to the success of our graduates and the practical skills they acquire at TIU.
This initiative is a reflection of the university’s commitment to fostering lifelong relationships and supporting the career development of our graduates, showcasing how TIU’s network continues to benefit its alumni.
