During Ramadan, the IT Department at Tishk International University held a lovely Iftar gathering. Students brought delicious homemade food to share, and everyone came together like a big family. We all sat down, enjoyed the meal, and had great conversations. After Iftar, we organized a fun competition with 20 IT questions, specially prepared for first-grade students. Many students joined in and gave it their best. At the end, we handed out rewards to the top three winners. It was a joyful evening filled with smiles, teamwork, and great memories.

  On the morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025, Tishk International University's IT Department warmly welcomed students from FAM Non-Governmental High School. As part of their visit, the students were guided through the university's medical laboratories, where experienced lecturers and assistants provided insightful explanations on crucial topics related to medicine and nursing. At Tishk International University, the IT Department organized a Quality Education (SDG 4) initiative by conducting a Python revision session for exempt students, fostering inclusive and equitable learning opportunities. IT Department students at Tishk International University (TIU) actively participated in the CAPAi Innovation Challenge Bootcamp Seminar, organized by TIU’s International Relations Office (IRO) in collaboration with The American University of Kurdistan, Duhok. Mr. Holan recently appeared on a Kurdistan TV channel to talk about his amazing project, titled “Integrating Computer Vision and Language Model for Interactive AI – Robot.” His project was ranked first out of 50 innovative entries. With the support of his supervisor, Dr. Abubakar Muhammad Ashir from Tishk International University (TIU), Mr. Holan created an AI robot that can recognize objects, move on its own, and interact with people.
