  With the help of some amazing volunteers, the IT department at Tishk International University managed to install Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 on all the computers. This was part of our second visit to Karokh High School, where we made sure everything was ready for the students to use. The IT Department at Tishk International University recently paid visits to some of their alumni to strengthen ties and show continued support. The visiting team—Mr. Hemin Mikael, Mr. Islam Abdulaziz, and Mr. Frsat—brought thoughtful gift packages that included a Tishk-branded power bank and some stationery. The IT Department at Tishk International University recently organized visits to alumni to keep a strong connection between graduates and the university. Mr. Hemin Mikael, Mr. Islam Abdulaziz, and Mr. Frsat were part of the visiting team. During Ramadan, the IT Department at Tishk International University held a lovely Iftar gathering. Students brought delicious homemade food to share, and everyone came together like a big family. We all sat down, enjoyed the meal, and had great conversations. After Iftar, we organized a fun competition with 20 IT questions, specially prepared for first-grade students. Many students joined in and gave it their best. At the end, we handed out rewards to the top three winners. It was a joyful evening filled with smiles, teamwork, and great memories.

IT Department students at Tishk International University (TIU) actively participated in the CAPAi Innovation Challenge Bootcamp Seminar, organized by TIU’s International Relations Office (IRO) in collaboration with The American University of Kurdistan, Duhok. The seminar, held on February 12, 2025, at the Education Building - 302 Hall, provided an excellent platform for students to explore innovation, AI, and entrepreneurship.
