On February 27th, 2019, The Engineering Faculty in collaboration with Science faculty have organized a tremendous day event for poster presentation competition. The event included the presentation of tens of posters by first-grade students in different departments of engineering and science. The poster included the view of social and scientific perspectives of student research and data analysis for the Academic debate course. Students presented their work for the staff and students of Tishk International University (TIU) and some guests and visitors. On 17th of December, 2018 a welcome party has been prepared for IT freshmen by class adviser Dr.Behçet Çelik. Dean of Science Dr. Karzan, head of Department Mr. Savriddin attended the event. During the meal, Dr. Behcet had a speech in welcoming the students for their new educational environment and wishing them all the success. A traditional lunch was prepared as well by the class adviser.

Tishk International University has held 3rd International Spring Festival of Language, Culture, and Science on April 25, 2018, with the participant of general consulates, representatives of the ministry of higher educations and all students of Tishk International University. The Festival had scientific stands from 20 academic departments. There was a Kurdish song by students with folklore. Kurdish and kobary dance by the Ashurian students were also performed in the festival. Tree Planting Project Student Deanery organized a project under the title of “Let us make Tishk International green all together” on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 on the campus. The event started by a speech of Umed Aruzery Vice-President for Administration and Finance in which he addressed to our students and our staff; in his utterances, he emphasized the importance of this project and for the region environment. Totally, we planted more than 1000 trees at our university.
