The IT Department at Tishk International University successfully implemented a strategic training project with Zanyari Private School between January 27, 2025, and March 1, 2025. The initiative fully achieved its objectives, delivering a measurable and positive impact on the educators involved.
Project Leadership
The program was led by Mr. Mohammad Salim from the TIU IT Department, with valuable support from Dr. Cengiz Akbalaban and Ms. Kanar Zirak of the Marketing Unit. Mr. Karwan Mahmood, Principal of Zanyari Private School, provided essential logistical and coordination support.
Training and Methodology
The initiative consisted of two in-depth, two-hour sessions focused on Google Classroom, Google Forms, and Google Drive. To ensure maximum accessibility and comprehension, all training materials were delivered in Kurdish, a decision that was well-received by the participants. One session was hosted at Zanyari School, while the second was conducted in TIU’s advanced IT laboratories.
Impact and Outcomes
Participants showed immediate application of their newly acquired skills during the training exercises. Pre- and post-assessment data revealed significant progress, including notable improvements in digital literacy and a boost in confidence when using ICT tools. Feedback highlighted high levels of satisfaction with both the content and delivery.
Beyond its educational impact, the project strengthened the partnership between Tishk International University and Zanyari Private School. Both institutions expressed a strong interest in continuing their collaboration on future initiatives to advance digital transformation in education.
