International Woman Day’s at Tishk International University

We are delighted to announce that the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) is organizing a National Workshop under the title of International Women’s Day in collaboration with the Dean of Students.

The first speaker of the workshop will be Dr. Khanzad Ahmad, the Secretary General of High Council for Women and Development in Kurdistan Regional Government-Iraq. She will be sharing insights on the role of women in development and the importance of their participation in decision-making processes. Prof. Hamdia Mirkhan, the Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University (HMU), will also be giving a presentation on the importance of healthcare for women and the challenges they face in accessing quality healthcare services. The workshop will also feature a discussion panel where the speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by women in society.
