Our IT Department at Tishk International University has started delivering IT courses in Mosul city based on an MOU with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). These IT courses focus on teaching basic ICT skills (ICDL Base Module) for a number of young males and females who need to develop their digital knowledge and skills in order to perform better in their study or get job opportunities.
The training targets 3 groups of beneficiaries, 2 groups will take the training in Community Resource Centers (CRC) on the left side of Mosul in Al-Tahrir district, while the other group will get the training inside another CRC center located on the right side of Mosul in Al-Jedydha district. The course is given on a weekly basis – 2 hours per week, moreover, the duration is 2 months starting on the 21st of February till 21st of April 2019.
