With the help of some amazing volunteers, the IT Department at Tishk International University (TIU) successfully completed the second stage of their community service project at Karokh High School. During this visit, the team installed Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 on all the computers, preparing them for student use.

Successful Handover and Future Steps

Following the installations, the team brought the computers back to the school and, together with the school’s principal and vice principal, officially handed them over. The TIU team was met with a warm welcome and genuine appreciation, underscoring the positive impact of this initiative.

While the visit was a great success, there are still a few minor issues to address. Four computers require a bit more time for final preparations. The IT Department will continue its work to ensure the entire lab is fully operational, contributing to the school’s educational infrastructure and bridging the digital divide.

The project is a testament to the department’s commitment to Quality Education (SDG 4) and its dedication to fostering a collaborative spirit with the community.
