As a crucial part of the Server Management course, the IT Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific field visit to DIL Technology Company on May 29, 2025. This visit aimed to connect classroom learning with real-world enterprise infrastructure and IT operations.
Visit Highlights
The visit provided 20 senior IT students with invaluable, hands-on insights that directly aligned with their course curriculum, including:
- Server infrastructure and rack configuration
- Data center hosting and environmental controls
- IP transit, leased lines, and network architecture
- CDN technologies and DDoS mitigation
- Core system administration practices
Students gained a deeper understanding of real-world server and network management principles, witnessing enterprise IT infrastructure in action.
Student Engagement & Career Exploration
Throughout the visit, students actively engaged with industry experts, asking insightful questions about:
- The company’s business model and technical operations
- Career paths in system administration and network engineering
- Required skills and certifications for industry roles
- Internship and job opportunities at DIL Technology
This dialogue proved essential for connecting academic knowledge with professional expectations and career planning.
