IT Students Enjoy Educational Trip to Rawanduz

On Saturday, December 14, 2025, students of Information Technology (IT) Department from Tishk International University, accompanied by Ms. Aya Sarkawt and Mr. Mohamad Kamal, went on an educational trip to Rawanduz. Students from all grades participated except Grade 1. Rawanduz, located in the Kurdistan Region, within the Erbil Governorate. It is famous for its mountains, valleys, and scenic nature, and it lies northeast of Erbil city. The trip supported SDG 4: Quality Education by encouraging learning beyond the classroom. Supporting SDG 1, SDG 2, and SDG 17 On Tuesday, November 2, the IT Department proudly participated in the TIU Food Fundraising Event, supporting: SDG Focus SDG 1 – No Poverty Charitable contributions and community assistance SDG 2 – Zero Hunger Helping provide food for a meaningful cause SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals Collaborative fundraising with TIU staff and visitors Student Participation and Contribution Over 100 students from the department took part, preparing and managing seven tables featuring a wide selection of traditional Kurdish foods and sweets.
