Workshop: MISCRA (Machine Intelligence and Soft Computing with Real Applications)

In collaboration with international academic institutions, the Information Technology Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized an international workshop titled: Machine Intelligence and Soft Computing with Real Applications. The event, which took place on February 11, 2024, was an essential forum for investigating the extensive landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its tangible implications in various disciplines. A diverse audience, including 16 academic staff members, over 90 students, and 2 distinguished visitors, attended the workshop, facilitating insightful discussions and a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives.

Objectives of Workshop

1. Illuminate participants with comprehensive insights into AI fundamentals and real-world applications.
2. Equip attendees with practical knowledge essential for navigating the evolving AI landscape.
3. Foster dialogue and collaboration among academic peers and industry professionals.
4. Highlight ethical considerations crucial for responsible AI integration.
