We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Research Assistant with experience in Laboratory and Microbiology techniques to join an established multi-disciplinary team of the Medical Analysis Department. The successful candidate must have experience in laboratory work, with BSc in Microbiology, Biological Science, or sciences-related subject (or equivalent). The post holder will undertake the laboratory workflows to facilitate the whole practical sessions of Microbiology classes. This will involve careful cultivation and some method development and dealing with relevant microorganisms from clinical samples, and subsequent preparation of tests and identification methods using established laboratory protocols.
