Promoting Ethical Interactions (Internal Seminar)
Dr. Soma Majedi, a Lecturer in the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU), recently hosted an internal seminar to discuss the importance of ethical treatment among academic staff and students. Dr. Soma emphasized the crucial role of academics in raising awareness about other fundamental issues that affect the community, including the significance of keeping the country clean and educating students about proper waste disposal.
The seminar aimed to address the growing concerns of unethical behaviour in academic institutions and promote a culture of respect and empathy. Dr. Soma talked about the significance of creating a positive academic environment, where everyone is treated with respect. One of the topics discussed was the importance of proper waste disposal, specifically not throwing waste in outdoor areas. Dr. Soma highlighted the adverse effects of improper waste disposal on the environment and the positive impact of encouraging students to take an active role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
