The Medical Analysis Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University held an informative and interactive workshop designed to prepare students for their upcoming summer internships in hospital laboratories. The event took place on July 30, 2024.

The workshop aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills needed to complete their internship at several hospital laboratories. It featured comprehensive outlines that covered several key topics crucial for a successful internship experience.

Process of Internship: The workshop began with an overview of the internship process, where the Head of Medical Analysis Department, Dr. Tola Faraj, gave details on what students can expect upon entering the laboratory setting, including orientation, mentorship, and hands-on training.

Techniques for Collaboration: Students were introduced to effective techniques for collaborating with other technicians. This segment emphasized the importance of communication and teamwork in medical environments.

Filling out Paperwork: Understanding the aspect of an internship is essential. In this session, participants learned how to accurately complete the necessary paperwork involved in the internship program, ensuring compliance with institutional requirements including weekly reports this session was explained by Mr. Tolaz Kadhim.
