A Delicious Day to Remember: Food Festival 2025 Celebrates Health, Culture, and Creativity

May 18, 2025. The Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences hosted an unforgettable Food Festival 2025, turning the campus into a lively hub of flavor, culture, and wellness. The event brought together students, faculty, and guests to celebrate the power of nutritious food through innovative and culturally rich dishes.

Colorful booths lined the venue, each one showcasing student-made meals that highlighted the importance of balanced diets, local ingredients, and sustainable eating. From vibrant salads and hearty traditional dishes to plant-based innovations and guilt-free desserts, the festival offered something for every palate.

“Our goal was to promote the concept that healthy eating doesn’t mean boring food,” said the department coordinator. “It’s about celebrating nutrition in a way that’s exciting, inclusive, and rooted in real-world application.”

Workshops, tasting stations, and educational displays added depth to the day’s festivities, emphasizing how nutrition can support long-term health and reflect cultural identity. The event was a testament to the department’s dedication to hands-on learning and community engagement.

The festival concluded with an award ceremony recognizing the most innovative, sustainable, and crowd-favorite dishes—proving once again that food can be both delicious and impactful.
