On December 3, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU) celebrated the establishment of its new Nutrition and Dietetics Department. On November 18, 2024, Tishk International University's (TIU) Molecular Biology Lab officially opened its doors. To mark the occasion, the Medical Analysis and Nutrition and Dietetics Departments at the Applied Science Faculty held an international workshop in collaboration with the Biotech Laboratory from Amman, Jordan. TIU and HMU Join Forces for National Workshop on World Food Day

On October 22, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU), in collaboration with Hawler Medical University (HMU), hosted a National Workshop on World Food Day: Food Recycling and Minimizing Food Waste.
