Steps Toward a Healthier Community

On April 23, 2026, the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Tishk International University organized a successful community wellness event he Walking Challenge.

This initiative was organized by the Nutrition and Dietetics Head of Department, Ms. Pary Ameer, as part of the department’s ongoing mission to promote physical activity alongside healthy eating habits. The event encouraged participants to recognize the vital link between daily movement and metabolic health.

Interactive Educational Approach

During the event, Nutrition and Dietetics students along side other students and staff as well used practical demonstrations to explain how simple physical activities can prevent long-term health issues. They successfully combined theoretical knowledge  and real world fitness .
