On 15/2/2029, The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held a special meeting for female academics. The meeting took place under the supervision of Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of female representatives from universities and higher education institutions across the Kurdistan Region.
Among the attendees was Pary Ameer, Head of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, who joined the meeting as a representative of Tishk International University.
The session focused on the role of women in leading higher education institutions, their contribution to institutional capacity-building and innovation, and their impact on research and development.
During the meeting, recommendations and proposals were drafted to serve as a foundation for public policy reform, aiming to further strengthen and enhance the role and influence of women within universities and higher education institutions.
