6th International Spring Festival, PT/TIU
On March 8th, 2023, Tishk International University organized the 6th International Spring Festival centred around the empowering theme of Women Empowerment. Within this grand event, the Physiotherapy Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences showcased the rich cultural heritage of Iran. A well-designed Iranian Culture Tent served as a temporary exhibition space, captivating visitors with immersive displays of traditional art, exquisite handcrafted items, and authentic attire.
The dedicated team of staff and students orchestrated a vibrant showcase of Iranian Games, mesmerizing music performances, and captivating handcrafted arts. Adding to the cultural experience, visitors were treated to an array of delectable traditional Iranian dishes such as Qurmasabzi and Kufte Tabrezi, lovingly prepared by Iranian women. This cultural tent, organized and managed by the Department of Physiotherapy, provided a true representation of the depth and diversity of Iranian culture. Visitors delighted in the immersive experience, leaving with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for Iranian traditions.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the students and staff members who contributed to the success of this event. Special thanks are also extended to Family Mall and the Iranian Consulate for their invaluable support and presence at our university. The International Spring Festival served as an extraordinary platform for interactive cultural exchange, leaving a lasting impact on participants and fostering a deeper understanding and respect for different cultures.
In addition, the Physiotherapy Department also set up a dedicated Scientific Tent, offering guidance and updated advice on prenatal exercises for expectant mothers, specific to each trimester. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about knee joint exercises through informative instructions provided by our experts.
The International Spring Festival was a remarkable celebration of culture, knowledge, and unity.
