On December 8, 2024, the Physiotherapy Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Tishk International University (TIU), hosted a welcoming event for its first-year students.
Prof. Dr. Faiq Hama Saeed Hussain, the Dean of the Faculty, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Surajo Sulaiman, the Head of the Department, delivered speeches emphasizing the department’s significance and the importance of the university. They also explained the teaching system and introduced the students to the faculty, sharing information about departmental and university activities.
All staff members, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Aminu Alhassan Ibrahim, Ms. Snur Azeez, and Ms. Dalya Saidi, were present to welcome the new students. The gathering fostered a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, aimed at offering guidance and creating positive experiences for the students.
As the event concluded, the Head of the Department extended heartfelt wishes for the students’ success in their academic pursuits throughout the upcoming year.
