On 2 November 2025, the Physiotherapy Department of Tishk International University, represented by the Head of Department, academic lecturers, and departmental staff, conducted an official visit to MoveWell Physiotherapy Clinic in Erbil, Kurdistan Region. The purpose of the visit was to enhance mutual understanding, strengthen professional communication, and explore opportunities for collaboration between the academic institution and a leading clinical physiotherapy provider. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the distinguished doctors, physiotherapists, and clinical team at MoveWell Clinic, who presented their advanced facilities, modern rehabilitation equipment, and evidence-based physiotherapy services.

The initiative for this collaborative visit was proposed by the Physiotherapy Department students, whose proactive ideas and academic engagement contributed significantly to promoting closer integration between physiotherapy education and clinical practice. The department highly appreciates the students’ initiative and contribution, which reflect their commitment to professional development and academic–clinical collaboration. This involvement highlights the valuable role of student-driven initiatives in fostering meaningful partnerships that support both education and patient-centered care.

The coordination and organization of the visit were primarily led by Physiotherapist Paiwand Mamand, with the active support of the students, ensuring effective communication between both institutions. Constructive discussions during the visit included the potential establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support future cooperation in academic collaboration, clinical training, and professional development. The Physiotherapy Department of Tishk International University extends its sincere gratitude to MoveWell Physiotherapy Clinic for their hospitality and looks forward to a sustainable partnership that bridges academic excellence with clinical practice.
