The Department of Physiotherapy at Tishk International University proudly recognizes the achievement of PT Paiwand Mamand Sultan, who successfully delivered an advanced online course titled “Advanced Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation & Pain Science: A Biopsychosocial and Load Management Approach” from 11–18 March 2026.
The course brought together physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals to explore contemporary topics in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, including pain science, exercise prescription, low back pain management, cervical spine disorders, tendinopathy, knee osteoarthritis, shoulder rehabilitation, and oncologic rehabilitation. Through interactive lectures and case-based discussions, participants enhanced their clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice skills.
PT Paiwand Mamand Sultan serves as a Research Assisstantt in the Department of Physiotherapy at Tishk International University. She holds a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from (UiTM), Malaysia, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Erbil Polytechnic University, and is also an International Certified Trainer. Her contribution reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, lifelong learning, and the promotion of evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Her continues to contribute to professional development and lifelong learning within the physiotherapy community. Her successful delivery of this international educational initiative reflects the department’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and advancing rehabilitation sciences.
