On 24 August 2026, the Physiotherapy Department at Tishk International University (TIU) had the distinct pleasure of welcoming a delegation of fifth-year Physical Therapy students from Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), Egypt, as part of an international academic visit aimed at promoting educational exchange, professional interaction, and collaboration among institutions within the field of physiotherapy.
The visit was facilitated through the valued collaboration and support of Dr. Mahdi Khaled, Head of the Physiotherapy Department at Erbil Polytechnic University, and represented a meaningful opportunity to strengthen academic connections and encourage international exchange among physiotherapy students and academic communities. The visiting students were welcomed to the TIU Physiotherapy Department and introduced to the department’s academic environment, teaching facilities, physical therapy laboratories, clinical education spaces, and physiotherapy clinic. The visit also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with academic staff and students, exchange perspectives on physiotherapy education and clinical practice, and gain insight into the academic and professional environment at TIU.
As part of the visit, the students participated in a comprehensive tour of Tishk International University, including academic halls, laboratories, university facilities, buildings, and clinical education areas. The tour and departmental visit were facilitated by PT Paiwand Mamand, Physiotherapist at the TIU Physiotherapy Department, with the participation and support of members of the university community. The interaction between the visiting international students and TIU students further contributed to an enriching educational experience and encouraged cultural and professional exchange.
The Physiotherapy Department at Tishk International University was honored to host the visiting students from Egypt and greatly valued the opportunity to contribute to international academic engagement, student mobility, knowledge exchange, and professional networking.
