On April 23, 2025, students from the Physiotherapy Department at Tishk International University organized a community outreach project in the Daratu area of Erbil. Under the supervision of Ms. Snur and Ms. Dalya, they distributed food boxes to families in need, bringing much-needed hope and support to underserved communities.
The Initiative
The students launched this charity initiative with great enthusiasm, collaboratively raising the necessary funds among themselves. As a department, we consistently supported their efforts both financially and emotionally. It was a joy to be involved in this meaningful project, and we deeply appreciated the opportunity to contribute.
Impact and Future Commitment
This initiative exemplifies Tishk International University’s (TIU) ongoing commitment to social responsibility and emphasizes the importance of extending help to vulnerable populations, particularly in remote areas. Through their participation, students not only made a tangible difference in the lives of others but also experienced personal growth—gaining a deeper understanding of compassion, empathy, and the value of community service.
TIU takes pride in these student-led efforts and remains committed to strengthening community ties through future projects that uplift and support those in need.
