Food Fundraising and Social Community Project

On May 21st, 2024, first-year students from the Physiotherapy Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a food fundraising event, held under the supervision of Dr. Kenan Kapukaya.

The purpose of this event was to raise funds for the purchase of flowers that will be planted on the university grounds. The process of planting flowers was initiated with the President of TIU, Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Dean of Students, Dr. Mohammed Abdulghani, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, Dr. Faiq Hussain, Head of Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Surajo Sulaiman, first-grade students, and department staff following the fundraising event. The initiative aims to foster community engagement and promote environmental sustainability.
