The Physiotherapy Department of the Faculty of Applied Science at Tishk International University organized a national workshop titled “Get Moving for Better Health” on April 10, 2025, in celebration of World Physical Activity (WPA) Day, which occurs annually on April 6.

WPA Day emphasizes the importance of regular physical activity for overall health and aims to reduce sedentary behavior. The goal is to promote active lifestyles that help prevent chronic conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

The workshop featured two expert speakers:
