On 22 January 2026, the Physiotherapy Department at Tishk International University organized a supportive breakfast initiative for first- and fourth-grade physiotherapy students during their examination period. This activity was held as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to promoting not only academic excellence, but also student well-being and social support.

The breakfast was arranged in the early morning hours to coincide with a particularly demanding time for students. First-grade students were preparing for their midterm examinations, while fourth-grade students were undertaking their final examinations of the semester, marking a crucial milestone in their academic journey. Recognizing the academic pressure associated with these periods, the department aimed to provide a moment of refreshment, encouragement, and positive energy before exams. This initiative reflects the department’s holistic educational philosophy, which emphasizes that student success is closely linked to physical well-being, mental readiness, and a supportive social environment. Providing breakfast during exams helps reduce stress, improve concentration and energy levels, and fosters a sense of belonging and care within the academic community. Moreover, such activities strengthen social interaction between students and staff, contributing to a positive and motivating learning atmosphere.

The event was successfully organized by Mr. Mahmood Soran, Coordinator, and Ms Paiwand Mamand, Research Assistant at the Physiotherapy Department, Tishk International University. Their efforts highlight the department’s dedication to student-centered initiatives that extend beyond the classroom. Through activities like this, the Physiotherapy Department continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally—preparing them not only as competent future professionals, but also as well-balanced individuals.
